Absolutely fantastic service!! The owner is the DEFINITION of southern hospitality. A friend of mine wasn't doing well in the heat of Festival International, so we were recommended by a stranger to stop in. The staff went out of their way to make sure my friend had water, an ice pack, and that she was ok. My group ended up staying for lunch; the food was delicious and the atmosphere was so inviting!
Best fried catfish in Lafayette. I stopped by to picked up a tray of catfish, fries and hushpuppies to treat some family for lunch. The owner greeted me at the counter and helped with my order even threw in some bread pudding for us as well. The food was a 10 in taste and freshness. If you find yourself downtown definitely stop in you'll be glad you did.
When you're close to downtown Lafayette, this is a great place for lunch. They always have something great for their plate lunch specials. I tried the turkey roll, rice dressing and peach cobbler for the first time. Just like mom used to make!
The food is amazing! Update: Today I got Turkey Roll, rice dressing, yams and peach cobbler. As usual Pat's didn't disappoint. The Turkey roll and rice dressing was well seasoned. The yams and cobbler are a great addition. Will definitely eat here again!
What a great spot! Food and atmosphere was incredible. The Poboy, Potato Salad, Crawfish Etouffee Baked Potato, Bread Pudding and Creole Fried Chicken were amazing. We felt like family here. Do not miss out on Pat's!
